At this stage, we’ve agreed with the client and signed a proposal for the home addition design and build. After confirming details, KC Groups’ designer and architect prepare drawings for your rear or second-floor extension. Both the interior and exterior of the addition and existing home are modified, with revisions made until the client is fully satisfied.
Architectural and engineering details are submitted to the city for permits, including arborist reports, land surveys, mechanical drawings, and other necessary documents. During this stage, finishing materials are selected, and the final project cost is calculated—streamlining the home addition process for the homeowner.
As soon as the building permit is obtained and the property is vacated, KC Groups will proceed with the planned home addition. The payment structure and material purchasing process are explained to the homeowner to avoid delays with supplier pre-orders. Soon, you’ll be able to enjoy a fully renovated home with additional space from a second-floor or rear extension.
